1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels.
2. Cookies we use
- Our visit counter: uses no cookies and saves nothing on a visitor's device. See section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
- Strictly necessary: required for core functions such as signing in, security, and keeping your session. These cannot be switched off.
- Preferences: remember choices such as theme or language.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and PostHog to understand usage and improve the Service. These run only where your consent choices allow, and never when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
- Review and referral links: when you open one of our short links (they start with /r/), we set three cookies that remember which link brought you: referral_code (30 days), visitor_id (90 days) and session_id (30 minutes). They let us credit the right link when you sign up or ask for a quote.
3. Managing your choices
Where required, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies through a consent banner. To change your choice later, clear this site's cookies in your browser settings, and the banner will ask again. You can also block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Service works.
